BENEFITS
Why choose the Platinum Complete Package from FranchiseNow if you’re planning to franchise your service or retail business?
Best Value – For less than $50 more than our Gold Package, you’ll not only get templates to help you create your Franchise Operations Manual, Franchise Agreement, and FDD, you’ll also get unlimited existing FDD database access, a useful Franchise Registration Guide, and the Franchise Document Bundle, which includes resources you can leverage in writing your own documents.
You Get More than Just Templates – Because even the best templates are of no use without clear instructions, our comprehensive Microsoft Word-based templates use guidance boxes throughout, helping you personalize the documents to your business. The templates contain hundreds of these boxes, providing suggestions for effective content, tone, and wording in each section.
You Get Ongoing Support – If you need help at any step of the process, our dedicated team is here to help; we even offer pay-as-you-go consulting services should you need that level of additional support.
You Get Unlimited Access to Real-World FDDs – To help you gain insight into how franchises similar to your own are structuring their offers, policies, and procedures, we give you unlimited access to the most comprehensive resource of archived and current franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements from today’s top franchise brands. Most of our competitors charge $49 to $99 per document. However, what they won’t tell you is that they got these documents for free from a government resource, then turned around and sold them to you.
Platinum Package Exclusives
Franchise Registration Guide – Fifteen U.S. states require you to register your franchise before offering it for sale. Though much of the process is the same in all states, there are significant differences. Franchise attorneys charge up to $10,000 to register your franchise in each one of these states. Our Franchise Registration Guide walks you through registration in each state that requires it—saving you significant time, money and frustration. Don’t let paperwork slow you down. The states that require franchise registration are very particular about it. Forms must be submitted in a specific order, and some states may even reject your package (while keeping your filing fee) if your submission is deemed incomplete or incorrectly assembled. Why risk losing valuable time and money? Our guide gives you detailed, easy-to-follow instructions on each state’s requirements—a preview of what to expect, from people who’ve been there. Besides providing you with all the necessary forms and instructions, our Franchise Registration Guide also gives you an insider’s heads-up as to what to expect in each state that requires registration. We tell you which states to file in first (and why), how to best work with each state’s registration agents, which software to use, and much more.
Franchise Document Bundle – Franchising your business requires a wide array of documentation and paperwork. Our goal is to help provide you with the tools necessary to efficiently complete this process. The following documents assist in the franchise sales process, daily operation, and franchisor compliance.
The Platinum Complete Package includes:
- List of state registration states: Fifteen states have franchise investment laws that require franchisors to provide pre-sale disclosures, known as “offering circulars,” to potential purchasers. Thirteen of these state laws treat the sale of a franchise like the sale of a security. Typically, the offer or sale of a franchise within said state is prohibited until a franchise offering circular has been filed on the public record with, and registered by, a designated state agency. These state laws are in place to give franchise purchasers their mandatory legal rights, including the right to file private lawsuits for violation of state disclosure requirements. We encourage potential franchisees residing in these states to contact their state franchise law administrators for additional information about the protection provided by these laws.
- Confidential application form and background check authorization: This form will allow you to properly evaluate and/or qualify potential franchisee applicants prior to releasing the disclosure documents (FDDs).
- Prospective franchisee request for consideration: A form designed to aid you, the franchisor, in qualifying potential franchisees. Used to qualify potential franchisees prior to inviting them to a Day of Discovery at your corporate headquarters.
- Daily, weekly and monthly Reports: A smart form that will allow your franchisees to easily calculate royalties and track sales in a unified format.
- Financial resources: Contact information for lending and leasing companies that can provide financial assistance for your franchise.
- Due diligence checklist: This due diligence checklist is designed to provide you with a step-by-step guide to the items your prospective franchisees will need to understand, complete, or schedule in making an informed business decision about your franchise opportunity. Your potential franchisees will refer to this checklist often as they review this opportunity to ensure they are making an informed business decision.
- Equipment leasing agreements: Information and agreements on equipment leasing.
- List of websites for all fifty states’ Business Licensing Departments.
- SBA franchise eligibility guidelines & application: When evaluating a franchise opportunity, franchisees are encouraged to look for system eligibility with the FRANCHISE REGISTRY. If your franchise system is eligible for this program, you will receive expedited loan processing through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). If your franchise system is not listed on this website, you cannot receive expedited loan processing through the SBA (per SBA Procedural Notice dated September 15, 1998).
- Information on upcoming rule changes with the Federal Trade Commission.
- Franchise operation forms: Our high-quality business and legal forms were written by professional lawyers and business consultants. All documents have standard margins, fonts and appearance to help you maintain a consistent corporate image. You’ll no longer lose time with plain-text, unformatted documents!
- Federal trademark registration: You must have a Registered ® Federal Trademark and/or Servicemark on file with the USPTO in order to franchise your business. If you have not already filed for a Trademark with the USPTO, we will both perform the preliminary search and guide you through the registration process. (Filing and registration fees not included.)
- Corporate structure: Whether you’re contemplating launching your own venture, have just started up, or have been in business for years, you’ll be amazed at the important role that business ownership structures play. Selecting the appropriate structure for your business can spell the difference between success and failure over the long haul. What was appropriate a few years ago may now put you and your business in jeopardy. Find answers to questions: When is sole proprietorship a good choice? What are the repercussions of forming a corporation vs. a LLC?
